Maxim Group Inc. is proud to be an active partner in the community. We believe positively contributing to non-profit organizations and their respective causes is equally as important as making a contribution in the workplace. Some of our community partners include Habitat for Humanity, Calgary Drop-In Center, Women in Needs Society, and Canadian Blood Services:
- In support of Habitat for Humanity, a dedicated team from Maxim Group and their family members volunteered their construction services to help build a multiplex in Calgary. They had a great time, learned some new skills, and were glad for the opportunity to give back to their community.
- The Calgary Drop-In Center is another area where Maxim has given back to its community. Serving dinner to many of Calgary’s less fortunate was an eye-opening experience. It revealed the extent of the needs of many Calgarians and that, with a little bit of effort, we can help make a difference, both individually and collectively.
- The Women In Needs Society offers programs to assist women and children after they leave a shelter, single mothers in crisis situations, women in transition requiring support, and new Canadians. Maxim Calgary supported a less fortunate family at Christmas time by donating many household items, new clothes and toys for the children, making their Christmas season a happy one.
- Since 2004, Maxim Edmonton has been proudly supporting the Canadian Blood Services through regular donation.
